Best Hair Extensions Types

Best Hair Extensions Types, From Clip on Hair Extensions to
Bonded Hair Extensions

By Theron Neels

The clip on hair extension is one of a growing number of hair
extension types. Depending on a number of factors and benefits,
not all of these methods would appeal to you.
When you go about selecting what type of application process
you want, you will need to take into consideration how long you
are going to wear the extensions, to what type of hair you have.
To make that kind of decision it is important to get an idea of
what goes into each method, and then settle on what would be the
best hair extension for your situation.
The hair extension applications that you will most likely come
across are clip on hair extensions, bonded hair extensions,
fusion hair extensions and weave hair extensions.
The clip on type involves hair extensions that are attached to
your hair using a special kind of clip. Clip-ons - or clip ins -
are the quickest to apply to your hair, and also the easiest to
remove, and therefore this type of hair extension could be your
choice if you want your extensions in your hair only for short
periods at a time.
An appealing aspect of clip ons is that there is much less
chance of damage caused to your hair, compaired to other
processes involving chemicals of various kinds.
If cared for properly, clip on hair extensions can last for a
very long time. In fact, it is simply a case of treating these
extensions as you would your own hair!
Weave hair extensions refer to the method where extensions are
actually woven into your hair. This is usually done at a salon
and involves using a needle to sew the extensions onto strands
of your own hair. The tight weave needed to keep the extensions
in place can make this process quite uncomfortable at times.
These woven extensions may need to be tightened from time to
time to ensure they are still properly held in place.
With fusion hair extensions there are both cold and warm
fusions. Fusion hair extensions have tips with a special type of
chemical on them. Using the applicator gun on them causes these
tips to fuse to your hair. This type of application is long
lasting and usually needs to by reversed by a professional. continued
