How to Get Volume Into Your Hairstyle

How to Get Volume Into Your Hairstyle
Author: BecomeGorgeous

It is time to forget about dull and flat hair and start enjoying some glamorous voluminous styles that will flatter everyone. Learn how to get the perfect volume in your hair, how to style it and how to treat your hair after each shaping.

Get Textured Hairstyle

One of the most simple ways to achieve volume is to get texture. Get curls or simply waves into your hair and it will look much more fuller than it is. You can use hot rollers, curling iron or even flat iron. Apply volumizing mousse on your hair and curl it in large strands, or go for the smaller ones if you go for the curly looks. Separate the curls by crossing your fingers through your hair a couple of times.

Tease Your Hair

Teasing your hair is also efficient, and it even takes less time than rolling up your strands. The bad news is, that teasing damages your hair even worse than rollers. Yet, it is a quick and easy way to achieve instant volume with any hair length. Don't tease your hair while still wet and never forget to detangle it. Separate your hair into strands, and start back combing your hair from the lower part to the top. Than you can easily style it in any shape.

Treat Your Hair

Getting volume into your hair means teasing or curling it. Both of them damage quite bad the hair follicle, so don't forget to treat your traces after each styling. Of course, avoiding styling products or tools, and even teasing, might be the best solution to keep your hair's health, but sometimes it's understandable in the name of beauty.

Cleanse well, removing all the styling product left overs and avoid brushing while wet and blow drying. Condition well and apply hair treatments. Try some homemade hair masks, and leave-in conditioners that can nourish your hair as best as possible.

Also, pay attention on your diet, by providing all the necessary vitamins that your body needs to be healthy and gorgeous.

In case you're not a fan of sleek hairstyles, volume will be your solution. But keep in mind that you need healthy hair for any of the hairstyles you want to make. So try to maintain your hair's health as best as possible, in order to sport your favorite look for a longer time. Eat healthy, avoid brushing while wet, blow drying and styling products and tools if possible. If you keep on loosing volume, try a different cut, get some layers into your hair and problem solved. Wear your hair exactly the way you like it.

Facial Cream For Dry Skin –

Make Sure Yours Isn’t Causing More Harm Than Good
Author: Elizabeth Ruby

If you’re looking for facial cream for dry skin, you really need to learn about the effective ingredients, before you buy anything. Many of the products on the market do not actually contain moisturizers. The only benefit they provide is to help lock in the skin’s moisture, which can be a double-edged sword.

If perspiration and sebum cannot get out of the pores, then the follicles containing the sebaceous glands become inflamed. The inflammation can lead to a minor infection. The infection can be seen as a cyst or a pimple, depending on whether or not there is a head.

Even people with excessive dryness can suffer from pimples. In fact, the dryness can lead to increased inflammation. So, it’s something of a vicious cycle. You need to keep the skin’s moisture high, but you don’t want it to be oily and you certainly don’t want to clog the pores.

So, you do not want a face cream for dry skin that contains petrolatum or mineral oil. If you read a few labels, you will see that most of them do. Liquid paraffin is not a good ingredient, either. None of those ingredients are actually moisturizing. Companies continue to use them because they are cheap and they have been used historically.

You want a face cream for dry skin that contains natural plant-based oils, very similar on a molecular level to the skin’s own sebum. Those oils can be readily absorbed. They will not clog the pores or lead to pimples.

Some of the best moisturizing ingredients include Shea butter and avocado oil, but they are a little too heavy for daytime use. They are usually reserved for nighttime facial cream for dry skin. During the day, grape seed oil is a good choice.

Another ingredient that has been proven to increase the skin’s moisture content by a large percentage in a short period of time is called Functional Keratin. Keratin is one of the structural proteins that make up the skin’s cells. One of its functions is to absorb moisture or hold water in the cells.

That keeps the cells plump and the skin’s layers firm. Research concerning the benefit of Functional Keratin has shown as much as a 40% improvement in the skin’s firmness after only 18 days of use.

So, if it contains Functional Keratin, a face cream for dry skin can make you look younger, too. Nothing contributes to the appearance of wrinkles more than lost firmness.

If you really want an incredible anti-aging effect, look for coenzyme Q10 as an ingredient. In the right concentration, it can reduce the effect that the sun and oxidative stress, in general, has had on your complexion.

Ingredients are listed on a label in order of concentration. The ingredients high on the list are included in relatively large quantities. Those low on the list are included in small quantities. Those are just a few things to keep in mind when you are shopping for facial cream for dry skin.

BRIDAL HAIR SECRETS REVEALED HERE

Author: rob maraby

On the Wedding day, be it for the bride or the groom, all of us want to be the cynosure of all eyes, as this day by its very nature, is a very special day in everybody’s life. All of us want when we step out decked in our best dress topped with a trendy and chic hairstyle, in all our glory. While deciding a suitable hairstyle for their wedding day, many brides consider to go with glamorous up do’s that are meant to accentuate their dress. As expected, some of these efforts are more effective than others are. Keeping that in mind, let's talk about how your Bridal hair should be for you on your wedding day. When you consider your hairstyle, you must consider not only the dress you choose to wear but also how you naturally wear your hair, the wedding environment, the weather, and the time factor. In recent times, there has been a strange trend for a high, offset part followed by the hair being sleeked down behind the ears in a low chignon. This can impart an ultimate oomph factor to you only if you have the face shape to carry it off. Honestly speaking, as per my observation, more often than not, brides opting for this look don’t look good in this style. It is not only your face shape, but also the length of your neck and the set of your ears and eyes that make this particular look a winner. Many brides can’t hide their chagrin when one look at their wedding pictures brings upon this already-delayed realization that instead of looking sophisticated, they have more a deer in the headlights look. It is designed for greater scalp comfort and helps protect hair quality from root to tip*. The ODS optimises the effectiveness of the coloration system. Up to 2x more protection of lipids found in the natural protective layer of the hair is observed compared to a classic permanent hair colorant.*

Our first 100% ammonia-free and odourless permanent hair colorant, INOA brings a new sensory experience to hairdressers and clients alike. It has been proven to provide more respect to the hair fibre* and also helps to leave hair feeling smoother.
